Year One Costs Nothing, and That Is Worth Something

Formation orders through Inc Authority include twelve months of registered agent service at no charge. For a company in its first year, that is a genuine saving at the moment savings matter most, and it is the strongest thing about the offer.

Year Two Has Neither a Price Nor a Date

No renewal price appears in Inc Authority's public materials. We checked in July 2026 and did not find one, and we are not going to estimate it here. In this industry, a figure absent from every published page usually surfaces at a checkout screen or during a phone call, but that is a pattern rather than a fact about this company, so treat it as such.

The objection stands regardless of what the number turns out to be. Montana wants an agent named on the record every year the company remains registered. You are being asked to commit to a recurring obligation whose price you have not been shown.

Montana Published Its Discount and Its Expiry

Set the two disclosure habits beside each other, because the contrast is the argument.

The Montana annual report carries a $20 fee on the statute books. Montana waived it for punctual filings in 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027. Filed after April 15, the same report costs $35. The change of registered agent filing carries no charge at all on the state's published schedule.

Read what the state did there. It announced a temporary price, named the years it applies to, and printed the year it stops. A business can budget four years forward from a public document without telephoning anyone. That is the standard Montana holds itself to, and a vendor selling into this state can match it or not.

Ninety-nine dollars a year, and the same ninety-nine next year, with no call required to establish the second figure. The successor is named before the statement goes in, since the record is meant to show an agent at every moment, and the old account closes only after your entity listing displays the new name.
